TRM CAMP ABRUZZO 28-30 MAY 2021
The TRM Camp Abruzzo will take place from 28 to 30 May 2021, with the start and the arrival in Roccaraso, in collaboration with Mountain Lab ASD. The track develops entirely in the mountain area of Abruzzo, within the Maiella National Park and the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park, covering about 40km a day, on ancient paths that surmount ridges and cross woods recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, passing along the lake of Scanno and Barrea and crossing the small villages of the area. During the Camp a TRM Coach, an expert on the area, will tell you a lot of secrets on the history and culture of the place while visiting ancient sanctuaries and unpublished places, with the hope of encountering the wildlife present in the relative parks. You will have the opportunity to train and have fun as a Group in wonderful places!

3 Days/2 Nights – 76Km with 4.500m D+
THE PROGRAM
- 28/05 Free arrival and overnight stay in Roccaraso
- 29/05 1st day – Group training. Start at 7.00. From Rivisondoli (1302mt), crossing the Monte Rotella (2127mt), we descent towards the Borgo di Rocca Pia (1181mt). Then we climb up towards the Val Chiarano and crossing the Pelosello refuge (1674mt) down towards the lake of Scanno (922mt). We cross the village of Scanno until the route ends just outside the small town. Overnight stay and dinner in Scanno, at the Joanna Farmhouse
- 30/05 2nd day – Group training. Start at 7.00. The day begins by crossing Passo Godi arriving at lake of Villetta Barrea. From this point we will face a long climb from 987m to 2,283m of Monte Greco which represents the highest peak of the Marsican Apennines. Then we will cross the Gravare valley and Aremogna to return to Roccaraso. A nice and warm shower will be waiting for you at the hotel!
