Before starting a nutrition plan, you should check your general situation, especially blood glucose levels during pre-race, while racing and at the finish line.


Since four years, the TRM Team successfully adopted a test using the latest generation of microchips. The microchips were used by the TRM Coaches at the Transpyerenea 900 km race and by Christian Pizzatti at the Trail Running World Championship in 2017.

Ask to perform a glucose test during a training session or a competition to check your energy consumption and understand if what you eat and drink is correct.

What is the TRM Gluco test?
It is a real experimentation carried out during an athletic performance that allows to constantly monitor the level of energy available in the blood and the consumption thanks to the use of innovative wearable sensors (microchips).

The test includes:

  • analysis of the nutrition strategy adopted in trail running competitions
  • rent of the equipment needed to perform the glucose test in training or competition
  • distance learning on the application and use of the sensors
