THE TEAM TRM WIN THE PENEDA-GERES TRAIL ADVENTURE 280KM

The 1st of May 2016 after 8 days of competition the TRM TEAM triumph at the Peneda-Geres Trail Adventure in Portugal: 3 first positions and the best timing.

A 280km race, 26.000mt D+, developing on a hard and challenging trail track of extraordinary beauty; river fords, waterfalls ascents, lakes, rocks, mud and sharp rocks….passing through medieval villages and deserted .

An international parterre of Trail Runners from more than 13 Nations of 3 Continents – Portugal, Belgium Luxembourg, the Netherlands, France, Brazil, Costa Rica, Mexico, Spain, Singapore, Japan, France and Italy – who fought for the podium supported by an impeccable organizational context, managed by Carlos SA Trail Adventure, and with a warm local rooting.

The TEAM ELITE TRM – represented by Cristina Tasselli and Marco Mori – has participated in the race testing the new TRM 900km Training Plan developed to face the TransPyrenea Ultra (898km, 55.000mt D +), some products for trail running and the wearable devices for the scientific research of the Project TransPyrenea Extreme.

Several podiums to add to their palmares where won:

• 1st place overall category Team
• 1st place category Mixed Team
• 1st place Individual Woman
• 7th place Individual Men

The next appointments for the Team Elite TRM are the mountain stage around the Mont Blanc in June and to follow the TransPyrenea in July.
