Mental Strenght

The TRM Mental Strenght is a program developed for the optimization of sports performance in collaboration with Dr. Silvia Petrini, psychologist expert in sport psychology and human performance. Participating in a mental training path means having the opportunity to experiment with an innovative and integrated approach the most important assumptions of sport psychology and human performance. You will be able to combine theory and practice during your workouts. Each mental coaching program is PERSONALIZED on the basis of the physical and psychological characteristics of the athlete, also detected through the compilation of specific questionnaires and tests. The TRM Mental Strenght has been perfected thanks to the work done with the TRM athletes since 2017 and the decades of experience gained on endurance athletes of other disciplines. To start a mental coaching path you do not need to have a problem to solve, but simply the desire to express all your talent during competitions. Various studies have clearly shown that training your mind is mandatory in order to fully express your potential. The harmony of the mind-body-environment system is essential to achieve the best performance, technical and physical skills alone are not enough.




The TRM Mental Strenght program will enable you to:

  • identify and optimize areas where improvements can be made, transforming your limits into opportunities

  • learn how to best manage your energy and maximize your recovery time
  • restore the correct mental state after an injury


The program includes:

  • analysis of psychological factors implemented during sports performance
  • individual and personalized coaching plan through one-to-one meetings or via skype call
  • individual mental training sessions
  • feedback on progress and results achieved


The TRM Mental Strenght is suitable for:

  • expert trail runners and road runners who want to improve their mental strength
  • a beginner trail runner who wants to learn the correct management of mental resources during
    long-distance or multi-day races
  • ultra trail runners preparing long distance races, over 167km, which require to deal with complex aspects such as continuous motivation, sleep management, injuries and fatigue crises


To start the program you need to:

  • send the necessary documentation for personal identification and fulfillment of legal obligations (identity document, health ID card, medical certificate)
  • proceed to payment

After completing the procedure for the purchase and delivery of the documents, within 5 working days the Secretariat will send you the link to complete the Questionnaire and will confirm the start date of the program.
