Trail Running Movement signs the partnership with Trail Mountain to organize 12 UNMISSABLE events in Courmayeur Mont Blanc, the Italian capital of trail running: 26 July – 1 August 2021

“Challenge Mont Blanc”.  This is the motto of the new VTMB events (Vertical Trail Courmayeur Mont Blanc). 12 MUST events for all TRAIL RUNNERS and SKY RUNNERS.

Here are the magnificent 12:

  • 10 RACES to choose from, Trail and Sky Running (ITRA and ISF points), to run alone or with the Relais formula
  • 1 TRAIL RUNNING EXPO with the best Sports Brands
  • 1 TRAIL RUNNING DIGITAL WEEK with all the news on trail running

Trail Mountain with the President and Race Director Gigi Riz, several times finisher and Senator Tor Des Geants, uses his decades of experience to propose a mix of races for athletes of all levels, which have Mont Blanc and the futuristic cable car Sky Way as a backdrop:

  • 2 incredible Vertical races, one for all the VK1 and a more technical one for specialists, the VK2
  • 1 Trail Running Race, with a return to the origins of the true “trail spirit” on a new path
  • 6 Challenge and Relais tests for athletes of all levels, for those who want to combine several races together or run together 1 competition for children and teenagers to give space also to the family and young talent

Digital Sport 360 to which TRM brand belongs, will take care of the digitization of the promotion of VTMB RACES in Italy and abroad and the TRAIL RUNNING DIGITAL WEEK, to allow athletes who cannot participate to experience the Mont Blanc “virtually” and participate remotely to all live events. The VTMB Events will digitally welcome trail and sky runners starting from APRIL and will accompany them until JULY at the Trail Running EXPO / DIGITAL WEEK and at the Races in the Week End of 30-31 July and 1 August.

Digital Strategic Marketing Director - certified Innovation Manager - in multinational companies, she is still today the only Italian female athlete to have ran 900 km and 55,000m D+ in the mountains in a single stage race (Transpyrenea 2016, 3rd women overall). She counts numerous Podiums and international Victories on races over 100k. She holds a SNaQ CONI certification as a Trail Running Coach, Athletic Trainer and in Nutrition and Sports Supplementation. Since 2014 she is President and sports executive of innovative technology startups and companies, including Trail Running Movement and Digital Sport 360. She trains elite trail running athletes and she teaches in trail running coach certification courses. She is an author of sports articles on training, nutrition and supplementation in trail running and running, both in Italian and in English and Spanish. She manages relationships and collaborations with Federations and Race Organizers.
