Trail Grigne Sud 42K, 22K

The TRAIL GRIGNE SUD event re-proposes for the sixth year TWO distinct races that will take place on 30 September in the natural environment of Northern Grigna, in front of the vertical walls of Sasso Cavallo and Carbonari, with breathtaking views of Lake Como. Departure and Arrival, Mandello del Lario (LC).

LONG RACE: TGS Extreme

SkyMarathon of 42km / 3.700m D+ : Competitive mountain running race particular, “only” 42km long but 3.700m of elevation gain! Three demanding climbs, speed descents on a good and runnable surface: a SkyMarathon to be managed with tactics and intelligence, if you don’t want to run the risk of running out of strength before attacking the last ascent to Manavello. Great satisfaction upon arrival on the lakefront of Mandello. Race on the FISky calendar. UTMB Index 50K – ITRA 3 Mountain Level 11

SHORT RACE: TGS SPRINT

SkyRace of 22km / 1.800m D+ : competitive mountain running race less tiring than the TGS EXTREME but still not to be underestimated. Four climbs, the first three moderate and (partially) runnable, the third in common with the TGS ‘EXTREME, demanding but very rewarding: splendid view over the lake up to Bellagio and the Alps.
