Canto Ultra Trail

L’Ultra Trail di 65 km con 3200m d+ parte da Calusco D’Adda, sale al Monte Linzone, montagna delle Prealpi Bergamasche passando per una famigerata scaletta di cavatori lunga 800 gradini spacca-gambe. Tocca il Monte Tesoro (1432m) punto panoramico sui laghi della Brianza e sulle cime circostanti, che divide la Val San Martino dalla Valle Imagna e quindi le province di Lecco e Bergamo. Sulla vetta nel 1985 sono stati eretti una croce metallica alta 15m ed un sacrario in ricordo dei soldati italiani morti in guerra. Da lì si arriva al metà gara presso il laghetto del Pertùs, si prosegue fino a Celana, per poi prendere il sentiero di Papa Giovanni XXIII di quelle nativo di quelle zone. Gli ultimi 15 Km della ultra trail, affrontando la salita più ripide della gara per raggiungere le creste del Monte Canto. Nell’ultima parte si attraversa uno dei punti più suggestivi della nostra zona e di grande valore storico e culturale, il famoso traghetto sull’Adda di Leonardo da Vinci, per poi imboccare un sentiero boschivo che riporterà a Calusco D’Adda.
The Ultra Trail of 65 km with 3200m d + starts from Calusco D’Adda, goes up to Monte Linzone, a mountain of the Bergamasque Prealps passing through a famous 800-steps ladder that will challenge your legs. The race track touches the Monte Tesoro (1432m) with a panoramic view on the lakes of Brianza and on the surrounding peaks, that divides the San Martino Valley from the Imagna Valley and therefore the provinces of Lecco and Bergamo. On the peak in 1985 were erected a 15m high metal cross and a memorial in memory of the Italian soldiers who died in the war. From that point you will arrive at the Pertùs lake, half way of the race, then to Celana, where you will take the path of Pope John XXIII born in that area. In the last 15 km you will face one of the steepest climbs of the race to reach the crests of Monte Canto. From there you will run across one of the most suggestive points of the area and of great historical and cultural value, the famous ferry on the Adda of Leonardo da Vinci. Then you will enter a forest and run on a single track that will take you back to Calusco D’Adda.

She counts numerous Podiums and international Victories on races over 100k. She holds a SNaQ CONI certification as a Trail Running Coach, Athletic Trainer and in Nutrition and Sports Supplementation. Since 2014 she is President and sports executive of innovative technology startups and companies, including Trail Running Movement and Digital Sport 360. She trains elite trail running athletes and she teaches in trail running coach certification courses. She is an author of sports articles on training, nutrition and supplementation in trail running and running, both in Italian and in English and Spanish. She manages relationships and collaborations with Federations and Race Organizers.
